1001 Animations-Donkey for a Day by AMX-269 1001 Animations-Donkey for a Day by AMX-269
You know that whole "it's for kids" excuse some people seem to use in "defense" of really bad animations? The one that pisses off MrEnter so badly? Yeah, I don't blame him for considering that mentality a problem. Just because something is animated, doesn't mean it has to be mindless, pointless drivel. Especially when you consider that not only are there cartoons made for adults, but pretty much all cartoons are made by adults.

Now, Disney has not been completely devoid of duds throughout the years; they've had plenty of missteps. But when they get something right, hoo boy do they get something right. I was obsessed with Winnie the Pooh as a kid, and even as an adult, I'm not ashamed to admit that there's still a place in my heart for all those guys from the Hundred Acre Wood. Really, "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" as a whole was an amazing show that, looking back, could get into some pretty deep, dark stuff (and again, this was shown on Playhouse Disney). There's no denying that this was a good show, and this episode right here is the one everyone truly remembers; and for good reason.

I've actually wanted MrEnter to do an Admirable Animation on this episode for a while, but now I'm starting to think that he couldn't due to the same reason he said he won't review "Over the Garden Wall." Really, is there anything else that can be said about this episode that hasn't been said already? It's Winnie the Pooh! And this is one of the most well-liked Winnie the Pooh episodes out there. That alone should be enough proof for anyone that animated shows can be beautiful, deep, and thought-provoking; not just for kids, but adults too.

Luckily, there's plenty of uploads of the episode (and others) on YouTube. Definitely check it out.
